This is the quintessential burger shack - and they make a mighty fine burger!

Of course, the atmosphere isn't too bad, either.  You can sit and eat your burger on their outdoor patio, enjoy the view of the mountains and (sort of) beach, watch the people go by and enjoy a perfect Southern California experience.

If you decide to get your burger to go, the beach is just a short two blocks away.  Hint. Hint.

Southbound: Take the 101 to Linden Avenue. Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the ramp.  At the stop lights go straight and The Spot is four blocks up on the right. 

Northbound:  Take the 101 to Casitas Pass.  At the top of the ramp turn left.  When Casita's pass ends on Carpinteria Avenue, turn right.  At the next light (Linden Avenue) turn left. The Palms is four blocks up on the right.
