not officially part of Carpinteria, this is a very nice
park with a wonderful view of ocean, islands and
mountain.
There is direct access
to a gorgeous beach, as well as a children's playground,
grills, picnic tables, restroom facilities, and abundant
parking. The picnic facilities have privacy from one
another, meaning that there aren't as many as there could
be so get there early if you are planning an event.
If you are staying in
Carpinteria, it is an easy drive up the coast.
Summerland is just on the other side of the freeway in
case you forgot something or wanted to grab a burger.
