This is one of the more interesting treasures in the Carpinteria park system this park contains Historical Landmark #2.

There are actually ruins of an historic two-story adobe home that had belonged to one of the Carpinteria's prominent settlers, Russell Heath.  He was an early state legislator, district attorney and walnut farmer.

There is also an old fountain and some of the largest eucalyptus trees I've ever seen.  There is also a very nice playground for children.  The park has a broad expanse of lawn for soccer or a bit of Frisbee.  There are no restroom facilities, but there are nice picnic tables.
